Thy Kingdom Come is a global prayer movement
which the Archbishop of Canterbury invited people around the world to join.
The wave of prayer runs for 11 days between Ascension and Pentecost.
This year Thy Kingdom Come will take place between May 13th - May 23rd 2021.
We asked people to pray in whatever way they want and with whoever they want
for others to come to know Jesus Christ.
To help us in this, copies
of the Thy Kingdom Come
Prayer Journal
will be available in Holy Trinity at the service
this Sunday
and then from the Church porch on Sunday afternoon, 9 May.
We
will leave the porch unlocked after the service until 6pm – as we did on
Mothering Sunday.
If you aren’t able to get to Holy Trinity, you can download a digital version.
The Thy Kingdom Come web
also has a large print edition.
The Journal has a Bible reading, a reflection and a prayer for each of the 10
days
between Ascension and Pentecost (13 - 23 May),
along with some space to
write down what God is saying to you, or your own prayer.
