Why did it start?

Rudgwick Church, supported by the local community, wanted to create a safe space for the village youth to meet, socialise and to have fun.  We love to support young people however we can!

When did it start?

In 2008 the Church employed their first full-time youth Worker, to help set up a centre in the village. They approached the Parish Council about the use of the old Cricket pavilion, currently unused following the building of the then Rudgwick Sport and community Centre. A lease was agreed and the Rudgwick Youth Centre opened it's doors in 2009.

Since then it has grown from strength to strength and now has four popular sessions as well as running other supporting activities.
