At Holy Trinity and St John's we support and pray for our Mission Partners.
Five Talents works through the Anglican Church in rural areas of East Africa to enable those who have no access to financial services to set-up and grow the small, often vulnerable, businesses they depend on. We invest in sustainable, long-term impact by forming 'Trust Groups', providing our clients with business training, and providing some of the world’s most marginalised communities with the basic financial infrastructure that much of the world takes for granted.
Tearfund has a big vision which they have been bringing into being since 1968. There is God-given-potential in poor communities and they we work with local churches to unlock this potential and see people escape extreme poverty, permanently.
Chichester Family Support Work
FSW is a ministry of the Diocese of Chichester; a charity working to support families across Sussex. They work intensively with families through many activities including home visits, support groups, one-to-one meetings, drop-ins as well as supported breaks with their community workers at our their residential centre, Knowles Tooth, in Hurstpierpoint.Fundatia works with disadvantaged children in Romania. The Foundation helps take care, educate and guide these young people as well as providing medical assistance young people with severe mental and medical problems. It also provides accommodation for the young people.
Tim and Georgie Vallance Webb (son and daughter-in-law of Reg and Mo Webb) are currently working with Mission Aviation Fellowship in Arnhem Land, Australia amongst the Yolnu People. MAF are a Christian organisation operating more than 135 aircraft across about 30 countries in the developing world. Flying across hostile environments, they reach the world’s most isolated people. They partner with over 1,000 organisations to bring physical and spiritual care to those who need it most.
BZT’s objective is to provide the means for Zambians living in very isolated rural areas to help themselves to be released from the shackles of poverty.
The Bible Society make Scriptures available where there are none. They help churches use and teach the scriptures and they try to promote the Bible through the arts, education, media and politics.
New Wine is a movement of churches working together to change the nation through a network of church leaders, summer conferences, training events and resources. A group from the Church attend the Summer conference in Shepton Mallet each summer; New Wine also provide training days throughout the year, such as the Third Person day
SU is an international mission movement that was founded over 140 years ago. They work in over 120 countries making God's good news known to children, young people and families and encouraging people of all ages to meet God daily through the Bible and prayer. Their goal is that all may come to a personal faith in our Lord Jesus Christ and grow in Christian maturity.
Overseas Missionary Fellowship
OMF is a Christian mission agency that serves the church and seeks to bring the gospel to all the peoples of East Asia. They help place Christians to share the love of Christ with East Asians worldwide.
The mission of the Barnabas Fund is to support Christians where they are in a minority and suffer discrimination, oppression and persecution as a consequence of their faith.
Engineering Missions International - Costa Rica
Rob and Helen Quail, are currently working in Costa-Rica through Engineering Missions international. There they are working to develop people, design structures, and construct facilities which serve communities and the Church.
