Remembrance Sunday

Sunday 8th November

Poppy margin

Instead of a full service of remembrance in the Church on Remembrance Sunday (8 November), we will hold a short (about 15 minutes),

Act of Remembrance outside the Church starting at 10.50am.

Those attending will need to stand on the grass, so please wear appropriate footwear.

We will be taking a collection for the Royal British Legion  (NB> There is no door to door collection this year ). We will be offering a contactless card payment or giving by QR Code. So please bring your phone or card with you to the service.

Social Distancing

poppies field marginEveryone is welcome to join us; however, you will need to socially distance your household / bubble from others.

Whilst face masks are not required you are welcome to wear one if you wish.

There will be a one-way system in the Churchyard.  The entrance will be from the paths either side of the Kings Head and the exit will be via the steps at the end of the path opposite the top of Lynwick Street.

Please remember to keep 2 meters apart from others and of the Sussex Boarder path which runs through the Churchyard.

Obviously if you, or any member of your household, have any symptoms of COVID-19 you should not attend.

Path to the left of Kings head

Parking will be limited and so we would urge you to walk if possible.
There will be limited parking in the carpark across the road, courtesy of Ralph and Linda from the Kings Head. You can also park on the left hand side of the road as you come down Church Street.

If you require wheelchair access or are unable to use steps please use the alternative path up the left hand side of the pub. There will be people welcoming you on the roadside and so do ask for assistance.

You can find directions to the church here.
