"Lovely group, lovely people, yummy cake and lots of fun for my little boy!"
"We are new to the village and it's been so great to be able to meet some other local mums
and babies who all made us feel so welcome."
Rompers is a relaxed group that offers friendship and support for Mums and a chance for toddlers to meet, learn and play in a fun, calm and informal environment. It is a chance to meet with other local Mums and help your child discover and make friends through play, music and art.
Pre-COVID we met every Monday morning in term time, 10am - 11.30am at the church.
We are really keen to get back to Rompers and to
see you all again!
Whilst we could legally restart, and we would be as Covid safe as we could be, we are mindful of our responsibilities to our wider community, including our already stretched healthcare workers.
We have therefore taken the difficult decision to not meet in person for the time being until we have a clearer idea of the risk to everyone.
However, we'd still love to catch up with you, and provide some support to you and your little ones. So, we will be launching Zoom Rompers for the next couple of weeks!!
We will have some time to chat together, we will do some songs and rhymes as well as having a simple craft activity to try with your children. We hope that you'll be able to grab a coffee, a couple of toys and maybe something your child can make a noise with for the song time, and join in. Feel free to drop in and out as it works for you - we'll all be quite new to this so if you bear with us, we'll bear with you!!
You don't need to have a zoom account to join in as we will send you a link, as well as the meeting log in details if you'd rather join that way. Feel free to share these with individual friends you know who would also like to join, but we ask please that you don't post them out on Facebook etc. for child protection reasons. The zoom details will be posted on our Rompers WhatsApp group later this week, or you can email email@example.com and we'll send them to you that way.
Current plan from 11 January 2021 term time only.
We hope you can understand, and we really hope that you'll join us!
